Edit for Windows
For those of you who have worked with computers in the pre-Windows area, EDIT might raise memories of those days. Microsoft is currently working on a resurrection of the command-line editor EDIT on Windows and Linux. If you want to test EDIT in its current status, go to the github repository.
AI Shell preview 4
Microsoft.PowerShell.AIShell has been shifted to preview 4 with enhancements on macOS and support for EntraID. Furthermore there are enhancements in Invoke-AIShell with the new -CopyCode and -PostCode parameters. If you run AI Shell on Windows 11 the new Phi Silica Agent can use the local Copilot. For more information, read the original blogpost of the PowerShell engineering team.
Manage the macOS Dock with Powershell
macOS users need to use it, because its a way to start applications quickly. Mike F. Robbins explains is how to change the macOS DOCK. I didnt know – and never would have the idea to change that on the commandline, but it is possible. How ? see the blogpost.
OpenAI Codex CLI as an AI Shell Alternative
OpenAI has an experimental project called CODEX. Its a CLI to access LLM´s on the command line. Read Michael Pietrofortes blog on his first steps with CODEX.
