PowerShell/OpenSSH Team Investents 2023

Every beginning of the year, the PowerShell team writes an update on planned investments into the platform. 2023, the PS team will be fcussing on PS 7 on Windows, PowerShell 7.4 (.net 8 based) DSC, OpenSSH, PowerShellGallery and VS-Code Extentions. Other side-products like PlatyPS, Crescendo and PSReadline are also mentioned. Read this to stay tuned on the PowerShell Future.

Fundamentals again and again and again …

Mikey bought a book, a great book from Jeffrey Hicks. Its a reminder to dig down to the basics again and again, so that your code gets more affective and clearer. Read it and learn.

Hashtables Hashtables Hashtables

The most beautiful way storing Key/Value data are hashtables. If you never used them, read this blog, if you are familiar with hashtables, read it also and review your mistakes 😉

While-loop – back to basics guide

This blog seems to focus on basics. While-loops are something i personally rarely use. Nicholas Xuan Nguyen wrote an article on them. Maybe a good chance to re-evaluate the possibilities of while-loops.

Have a good week. R.
