Install AIShell on a Mac (preview4)

We did blogs on installing AI Shell on this website already, see AIShell-preview-1 on macOS. First steps to life ! Markus Elsberger did a blogpost based on AI Shell – preview 4. Pretty well done, with sample code and screenshots. If you want to run AISHell on macOS, read his blogpost.

DSC 3.1 released

Desired State Configuration is a big thing for Microsoft and it can help make infrastructures more secure, stable and manageable. The jump from 3.0 to 3.1 has a lot of improvements like X-Plat enhancements, performance, authoring, diagnostics and so forth. If you are in DSC, you have a must-have-task. Read Original blogpost from Microsoft.

Installing PowerShell with the .NET Tool

With the switch from Windows Powershell to PowerShell Core, the options for PowerShell installation have grown. One method you may not have on your radar is the .NET Tool method. Sam Erde has written a blogpost which shows options to do so. If you have special use-cases or are not happy with the existing installation methods, read Sam Erdes blogpost.

Restart-Computer local and remote

Rebooting a machine can be a big issue in large-scale environments. A stable and reliable process can be (IT-Support)live-saving. Read Markus Elsbergers blogpost on rebooting machines with PowerShell to have this job done finally.

Have a nice summer !
